Thank you, Tony Romo

from the Star Telegram:

Cowboys receivers Terry Glenn, center, and Terrell Owens, right, had plenty to be thankful for Thursday: A heaping helping of touchdown passes from Tony Romo, left. Glenn caught two, Owens one and Marion Barber two in a 38-10 victory over Tampa Bay, giving Dallas the second-best record in the NFC.

A legend in the making?

Tony Romo's performance tied a team record: It was the ninth time a Cowboy passed for five TDs. (List, 4CC) How he compares with two stars:

Troy Aikman The leader of the '90s dynasty threw for five touchdowns once -- a comeback against the Washington Redskins in 1999 -- but needed overtime to do it. Romo's five were all during regulation.

Roger Staubach The Cowboys legend won two Super Bowls in the 1970s and led the NFL in passing four times. Although he threw 153 career touchdown passes, Staubach never threw five in one game.
