Most likely Draft Scenario

Look for the Cowboys to trade up to the 10 - 13 spot if (and only if) Adrian Peterson some how falls to 10. Most likely he would be the only one to slide that far that has the "Wow" factor Jones is looking for. Calvin Johnson is a stud and Jones knows it, but he won't make it past the top three picks. Jones won't move up that far.

Although, Jones said he would not trade a player, he might have to..to get this done. Unless, he is willing to trade this years first and 4th and next years 2nd to move up high enough to get Peterson in the 10- 13 range. Then he can trade a player (Julius) or players for next years 2nd or 3rd right after the draft to recoup that pick.

Forget about the draft value chart, that will be thrown out the window. He said as much. He will offer what he wants to and hopefully the teams will accept. More teams are willing to move down out of the top 10 than are willing to move up to the top 10. It should be a buyer's market this year.

If he can keep our second round pick this year he can parlay that into a reciever (Jarrett). He also mentioned taking a QB the first day which would be most likely in the 3rd round (Kolb or Stanton). He mentioned both positions as first day picks and unless we somehow pick up more picks in the those two rounds we are looking at possibly an "all offense" draft on the first day.

Second day you could bundle some of the picks in the latter rounds and move into the 4th and pick BPA or need player.
