Camp Notes: T.O. Speaks

from D.C.com

Though wide receiver Terrell Owens shirked reporters and cameramen for the second straight day on Sunday, he did have one thing to say while walking through the Cowboys locker room as reporters crowded veteran cornerback Aaron Glenn.

"Where's A.G.? Aaron, tell them about how Yao Ming disappointed you again," Owens shouted.

Glenn, who grew up in Houston, laughed at the good-natured crack. Yao's Rockets were beaten in seven games by the Utah Jazz in the first round of the NBA playoffs on May 5.

"Every player knows I'm a huge Houston sports fan from the Rockets to the Astros or, we don't have a hockey team," Glenn said. "It was a disappointment, whereas T.O.'s a so-called Golden State fan, now he's on Golden State."

That may be unnerving for Dallas Mavericks fans after the team was upset in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Last summer Owens wore a Shaquille O'Neal jersey during an NBA Finals game between the Mavericks and O'Neal's Miami Heat, to the chagrin of some supporters of both the Cowboys and Mavs.

"I was an Oscar De La Hoya fan and you know he lost too, so that weekend wasn't very good for me," Glenn said. "I was flipping back and forth watching them."
No word on whether Glenn picked Street Sense in the Kentucky Derby earlier that day.
