DMN Blog: 6/9 Afternoon practice highlights

*C Andre Gurode failed to get revenge against CB Terence Newman for yesterday's pantsing. The Fat-Skinny Feud will carry over into training camp.

*Roy Williams should have had a pick on a pass Tony Romo tried to force to Jason Witten in the end zone. The ball clanked off Williams' mitts. "He has hands like feet!" a player hollered.

*Romo was able to squeeze a TD pass to Jamaica Rector on a post route into a very small window.

*Safety Ken Hamlin was a step slow on a TD connection between the immortal undrafted free agent duo of Richard Bartel and Mike Jefferson. Hamlin, however, made up for it by making a nice break to pick off a post route from Tony Romo to T.O. If it were a game, you'd hope that T.O. would have made an effort to get a hand on the ball. Can't blame him for not wanting to stick his surgically repaired finger in there during a voluntary minicamp.
