Colts ready for Dallas

WTHR - Indianapolis News and Weather:

The Colts are headed to Dallas for their first pre-season game of the year. Indy faces the Cowboys Thursday.

At Colts camp, much of the attention has been focused on the defensive line. Last year during the regular season, Indy struggled to stop the run. Now Booger McFarland is out indefinitely with a knee injury.

The big question is who will step in.

"It's gonna take a committee of guys, and the guys behind them, myself, [Dan] Klecko, the rookies, you know, we're just gonna have to step up and get the job done," said Darrel Reid, defensive tackle.

So should fans be worried?

"You don't have to worry. We're gonna get the job done. That's how it works around here," Reid said.

There are so many ways to hype the Colts-Cowboys game tomorrow night.

Wade Phillips making his debut as Dallas coach against a team playing its first game since being crowned Super Bowl champions!

The Colts returning to Texas Stadium, where their bid for a perfect season ended after a 9-0 start last November!

Dallas' upstart quarterback Tony Romo vs. the standard of excellence, Indianapolis' Peyton Manning!

And how about this for a new grudge between franchises linked since the Colts beat the Cowboys with a field goal in the final seconds of Super Bowl V: Indianapolis seeking payback for the May vote that awarded the 2011 Super Bowl to Dallas' new stadium instead of its own!
