Rookie LB Anthony Spencer said Monday that he expects to start in Week 1 regardless of LB Greg Ellis' (heel) status

Ellis missed practice Monday and it sounds like Spencer has been told that he'll get the nod against the Giants. The first-round pick was underwhelming during the preseason as he transitioned to linebacker after playing defensive end in college.
