Buffalo Perspective: Regarding Romo

Regarding Romo
by Bill Pucko

Dallas quarterback Tony Romo is among the hottest acts in the NFL these days and on Monday night, the Buffalo Bills figure to find out why. Close up.

Romo has been starting for the Cowboys less than a full season but he ranks second in the league behind only Tom Brady. Romo has eleven touchdown passes to his three interceptions. Last week against St. Louis he proved to be pretty quick on his feet too. Says Bills safety Donte Whitner, "He's an athlete. Maybe we don't give him credit for being an athlete. A lot of those plays break down. He's doing it with his feet. Buying his wideouts and tight ends some time to get open and throwing the football to them. Then they have guys make a lot of plays after they catch the football, making guys miss and getting those "yac" yards. We have to be good tacklers this week. We definitely need turnovers to have the opportunity to win this football game."
