DMN Blog: Romo record tracker
I thought I was going out on a limb when I predicted during training camp that Tony Romo would set Cowboys records for passing yards and TDs this season. Looks like I was setting the bar too low.
Romo is on pace to shatter Danny White's marks of 3,980 yards and 29 TDs set in 1983. If he keeps this up, Romo could break the NFC records in both categories.
Kurt Warner holds both records -- 4,830 yards in 2001 and 41 TDs in 1999. Romo's projected stats: 4,796 yards and 44 TDs.
