DMN Blog: Cowboys ready to buckle down

Yes, the Cowboys are 0-2 in the preseason. But nobody is jumping off the tallest building in downtown Dallas -- just yet.
Talking with the players today, it's clear that they know it's only the preseason. But just by listening to some, you can tell the players are starting to think about ironing out the kinks and getting down to serious business.
"It's not in panic mode by no means," tight end Jason Witten said. "But I'd like to see us play well this week.
"For anybody that's kind of putting it off, I understand it's preseason. But there has to be some urgency here and we have to get those corrections made."
