EL PASO -- Two weeks after being forced to cancel, Felix Jones finally made the trip to El Paso on Tuesday to appear on "Inside the Huddle" radio show.

The show is broadcasted weekly from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday on KROD-AM 600.

Hundreds of Cowboy fans showed up to the ICE Bar to listen to Jones talk with co-hosts Steve Kaplowitz and Dallas defensive lineman Stephen Bowen.

"I didn't know what to expect. I've never been to El Paso before," Jones said. "I'm loving this, and I'm glad I came. This is a great atmosphere."

Since becoming the first-round draft choice of the Cowboys in April, Jones said he has not had many chances to see fan reaction -- until he came to El Paso.

"Right now I'm getting a feeling of how it will be (as a Cowboy)," he said. "(Bowen) told me there is going to be lots of support."

Bowen said each week has been a success, especially with guests like Jones and Michael Irvin, who was the guest two weeks ago.

"Felix is a rock star," Bowen said to the crowd. "The way he's been playing, he might not be able to go to the restroom by himself."

Several fans brought memorabilia for both players to autograph, but only a few fans were guaranteed a chance to get one.

"It's great for a player of his talent to come to El Paso," said Edgar Echavarria, who got a helmet signed. "Even if a big player doesn't come, it's a great show each week."
