DMN: Pacman out 2 weeks, could return vs. Philly
by Calvin Watkins
Pacman Jones received a second opinion on his neck and was told he would need to sit out two weeks and could return for the regular-season finale at Philadelphia, according to a source.
Jones suffered the injury in first quarter of the Steelers loss when he dived after a muffed punt. Jones was having severe pain on the flight home after the game and on Monday said he needed an MRI.
Jones has swelling on his neck and once that subsides, he might be able to come back.
The Cowboys' doctors told Jones the injury was not career threatening but felt his season could be over.
It's hard to predict if Jones will return this season because you don't know when the swelling will go away. Doctors also told Jones, according to a source, that he doesn't need surgery.
