Player Update: Marion Barber, RB

Source: RotoTimes.com

Owner Jerry Jones admits that the Cowboys are considering the idea of limiting Marion Barber's workload early in games so that he can be move effective in the fourth quarter, the Dallas Morning News reports. The Cowboys may even start Felix Jones over Barber in 2009.

Our View: The newspaper takes Jones's ideas and goes another step by putting forth Tashard Choice as a potential starter. The Cowboys want to get Barber back to being the punishing stud of 2006 and 2007. That may be good news for his touchdown total and effectiveness, but this news also means the front office may not see Barber as a 300-carry back. Fantasy owners may have to settle for mild yardage totals next year.
