Cowboys | K. Davis has bullet removed from thigh

Jean-Jacques Taylor, of The Dallas Morning News, reports Dallas Cowboys FS Keith Davis (thigh) underwent surgery Friday, Aug. 25, to have the bullet lodged in his thigh removed. He will likely miss the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 26, but is expected to be ready for the regular-season opener.
