That roster move is now official. Now, the question is who gets bumped from the practice squad if Johnson is re-signed as expected. Preliminary speculation has cornerback Quincy Butler getting the ax.
The reasoning: He played at TCU, so he lives in the area and will be readily available if Dallas makes another move with the practice squad down the road. Besides, he was released a couple of weeks ago and passed through waivers.
Doing it again, should not be a problem.
