49ers trying to stop Norv Turner's move to Dallas

ESPN's Ed Werder reports the 49ers have offered offensive coordinator Norv Turner a "lucrative incentive package" in hopes of preventing him from accepting the Cowboys' head-coaching position.

Jerry Jones interviewed Wade Phillips on Friday and is set to meet Saints defensive coordinator Gary Gibbs early Saturday. Turner's interview is scheduled for Saturday after the Senior Bowl. San Francisco is trying to prevent that meeting from taking place.
