Hey, he got off $492,500 cheaper than Belichick

Dallas wide receiver Terrell Owens said yesterday he was fined "a good chunk of money" -- an NFL spokesman said it was $7,500 -- for a touchdown celebration in which he poked fun at the New England Patriots' spying scandal during the Cowboys' 37-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
"It wasn't even the fact I used the goalpost as a prop; they said I used the ball," said Owens, who pretended he was filming surreptitiously from behind the goalpost.
He's confused and frustrated by the league's policing of such end-zone antics.
"It's kind of hard to understand the rules," he said. "It's like you can't do nothing no more. ... Dude, it's like they're trying to find any way to take fun out of the game. So I'm kind of limited right now as far as what I can do. Nothing's worth getting a fine for."
