Jacobs: "I think we're going to go to Dallas this Sunday and whup their (butt)"

Brandon Jacobs was trying to dodge questions about Tiki Barber today in the locker room when he stepped into another trap. In one quick move, he might have provided some bulletin board material for the Cowboys.

"I know Tiki better than that. Me, personally, I just don't think he said a lot of it," Jacobs said. "That's just me, personally, the way I feel.

"But off of that subject. I think we're going to go to Dallas this Sunday and whup their (butt)."

Uh oh.

Jacobs was given a chance to take it back and he did.

"Well, I just think we'll go play well. I'm going to say that," he said. "We're going in there and play well and hope we come out with a victory.

"We're going to Dallas and play well."

Just when I was about to tell leagued we were getting ready to write about some football, this happened. Sorry, leagued, but in this market, Jacobs' quote is gonna grow legs. Trust me.
