On the record: 9-7

A liberal dose
September 06, 2007

Bill Parcells might be gone, but the Cowboys are still America's Team and television's favorite show. A franchise-record seven nationally televised games highlight the Cowboys' 2007 schedule and coach Wade Phillips' first season with the team. The Cowboys entered training camp with hopes of a possible Super Bowl run. But the uncertain status of injured linebacker Greg Ellis and injured cornerback Terence Newman might make it a dream deferred. Here's a closer look at the schedule and a probable 9-7 finish. The question is, will it be good enough to make the playoffs?
