Roy E. Williams will become the Cowboys' starting split end following Terrell Owens' release
Williams didn't work out at flanker in 2008, but now returns to his natural position. Split end is the featured receiver in Jason Garrett's offense. Williams isn't good enough to best Terrell Owens' 2006-2007 numbers there, but he'll be a strong bet for 75 catches and 1,000+ yards. The favorite to start at flanker now is Miles Austin. Patrick Crayton figures to stay in the slot.
