Jerome Solomon and Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, reports the New England Patriots had free agent RB Anthony Thomas (Cowboys) in for a tryout this week, but decided to sign RB Mike Cloud instead. The Patriots offered Thomas a deal, but the sides couldn't agree on terms.
