DMN Blog: No Glenn, no problem

I seem to recall a football genius writing during the preseason that a star No. 2 receiver was a luxury, not a necesssity, in this passing scheme. I reckon the fact that the Cowboys lead in NFL in scoring with Terry Glenn watching from home proves that point.

David Moore points out that T.O. and Jason Witten are gobbling up the balls that might have gone to Glenn.

T.O. and Witten have combined for almost twice as many yards and five times as many TDs as they totaled through three games last season. The change in QBs and play-callers has a lot to do with that, but they've more than made up for Glenn's absence.

Could Glenn coming back disrupt the offense? Don't think so, as long as he accepts a complementary role.
