After missing the past three games, running back Julius Jones should be ready for the second-half opener against Philadelphia. He averaged 114.7 yards per game over the final seven last season after coming back from injury. His performance included games of 150, 198 and 149 yards. Although Jones has yet to rush for 100 yards this season, he is capable of a 2004 reprise. The good thing for the Cowboys, however, is that it might not be necessary for Jones to be the focal point of the running game. Rookie fourth-round pick Marion Barber has emerged as a quality back and will get his share of carries, as will rookie free agent Tyson Thompson.
